Where do you work?
Steve is based in Howell, Monmouth County, and works across Central Jersey and the Shore: Monmouth, Middlesex, Mercer, Ocean and Somerset counties, from Middletown and Cliffwood to East Brunswick, Plainsboro, East Windsor and Toms River. For pre-purchase inspections and scheduled jobs he travels farther, including North Jersey, New York City and Philadelphia. Ask anyway if you're not sure.
What can you fix in my driveway?
Most everyday repairs and maintenance: diagnostics and no-starts, check engine lights, brakes (pads, rotors, calipers, fluid), batteries, starters and alternators, oil changes and tune-ups, wheel bearings and suspension parts, headlights, door lock actuators and more. Tell Steve what's going on when you book and he'll confirm it's a mobile job.
Do you do pre-purchase inspections?
Yes, it's one of the most-booked services. Steve meets you (or the car) at the dealership or the private seller, test drives it, scans it and goes over it top to bottom, then walks you through what he found so you can buy with confidence or negotiate. Out-of-state buyers book him to check a car before they travel.
Which cars do you work on?
Most makes and models. Recent jobs include Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Jeep, Dodge, Mazda, Volvo, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
How quickly can you get here?

How does pricing work?
Steve quotes the job up front and you agree on the price before any work starts. If parts need ordering, he'll confirm the total and come back to do the repair.
Do you work nights, weekends and in bad weather?
Steve works 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends, and customers have had him out in the rain and in snow. Call or text any time.
What do I need to have ready?
A safe, reasonably level spot to work, like a driveway, parking lot or garage, and the keys. You don't need to stand next to the car the whole time.
Won't start? Stay put.
Call or text Steve. He'll talk it through, come to wherever the car is and get you back on the road.
